The Fiat Coupe was never sold new on the Australian market and has therefore never been factory homologated to comply with the extensive range of Australian Design Rules applicable to modern passenger cars. This is a pity as Australians have never had the opportunity to experience this unique and dynamic sports coupe.

These variants were manufactured from 1997 to 2000.

Production officially ceased at Pininfarina’s manufacturing facility in July/August 2000. At the time of writing (July 2001), a few new vehicles are still available on some markets, and a limited number of the later 20V Turbo and Turbo Plus’s are becoming available. A greater choice of earlier used examples are available from a number of markets.
